The Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organizations recently concluded its 106th Board of Directors meeting which was held on the 23rd of April 2010. The meeting was hosted by member Digicel Turks & Caicos at the Seven Stars Resort in Turks and Caicos.
In this annual address, I will look back on the year 2007 and conclude with a short look into the year that is upon us, namely 2008.
The macroeconomic environment in which we, as a company, have had to operate in 2007 may be characterized as one with a stable exchange rate, a relatively low inflation figure and a further decrease of the interest rates.
